Your brand needs to extend its reach, which is where ambassador programmes come in. Fresh supporters and rooted connections need to be established.
Advocates of your brand/community can take the lead in putting the word out there, of what your brand is all about.
If well structured and implemented, ambassador programmes can give your brand an extra helping hand in letting people know what makes your brand tick.
Here’s how to do it:
Outline goals - Some of these goals can include; increasing brand awareness, conversions targets, boosting engagement, sustaining members’ loyalty, valuable feedback etc.
Identification - Members that are influential and passionate about your brand, should be your first choice in selecting ambassadors. They should be active engagers.
Recruiting - Your ambassadors should be active in community events and social media. Develop a strong value proposition, outreach plan and motivating application process.
Tools & resources - Now that you have onboarded them, give them what they will need like; handbook, media assets, content calendar, feedback platforms, tracking tools etc.
Rewards - Active ambassadors deserve to be rewarded. Discounts, recognition, exclusive perks and private access are some of the things you can include in rewards.
It’s time to take action and build your successful ambassador programme. Your zealous members can push growth and become potent advocates for your community.
Launch it today and watch your brand soar!

You take on other roles in other industries and you should be recognised and adequately compensated for that.
Show people this infographic to someone, the next time they say community management is not a real job or it’s not stressful. 😏
